Second-hand bookshop adds to the buyer's price 7% of the organization fee (including VAT).
Auction leader have a right to withdraw an object before the beginning of auction without giving a reason.
People and institutions which placed an written order of purchase are allowed to participate in auction.
In orders sent by post please give a number of position, author's name, first word of a title and the highest offered price. All orders and limits are treated as confidential. On behalf of this people and institutions in auction participates the commissioned representative of second-hand bookshop.
Ordered objects are sent by post:
- institutions: payment by bank transfer,
- private people: payment by cash.
Please abide the 7-days long maturity from the date of receiving the bill for purchased objects. After this term the statutory interest will be counted.
People who receive objects in person are obliged to buy them during the 7 days from the date of auction. After this term the statutory interest will be counted.
Biblioteka Narodowa (The National Library) and Biblioteka Jagiellonska (The Jagiellonian Library) have the right of pre-emption at auction prices.
The organizer of auction do not assume the responsibility for hidden physical and law defects of objects from auction.
Export of books and other items (graphics, maps and manuscripts) abroad is regulated by the Act on protection of monuments and the guardianship of monuments dated 18. 03. 2010.
